A
lecture, along with a show at MASP, accompanied the release of
the book Lina Bo Bardi - Sutis substâncias da arquitetura [Lina
Bo Bardi – Subtle Substances of Architecture], put out by Romano
Guerra e Gustavo Gili Publishers. The author, Olívia de Oliveira,
based her work on her doctoral thesis, defended in 2002 at the
Superior Technical School of Architecture of Barcelona, Spain,
and relied on the collaboration of Carlito Carvalhosa and Rara
Dias, who did the graphic design. The book contains dozens of
illustrations depicting the architect’s models, photos and drawings
(400 pages, R$ 142.00).
