The
Institute organized a series of lectures, debates and readings
about Lina Bo Bardi's work in the various cities where the exhibit
was presented. In those events, architects, intellectuals and
important local personalities took part. It also provided to the
public a series of lectures about architecture in which foreign
professionals participated, such as Josep Maria Botey, who was
in charge for the restoration of the house Battló, Gaudi, Aldo
Van Eyck and Max Risselada. The Institute organized, as well,
an exhibit and a lecture about Geoffrey Bawa, famous architect
from Sri Lanka, at MASP, in 1995.
These projects counted on the support of Fundação
Vilanova Artigas, of FAU-USP, of FAU Brás Cubas and of MASP.
